Friendship

For friendship we didn't know quite what to do, but we thought this showed union ship between an unlikely pair which is what friendship is about.

Loneliness

We thought this showed loneliness as its quite dark other than one bright light and only features one subject. Because of the darkness and the tilt of the camera this could also count for fear.

Danger

This creates a sense of danger because the identity of the figure is half hidden by the shirt, and the spray bottle is pointing directly at the camera, making it look like POV shot, so that the viewer is in danger. 

Love

The first image shows love because it features the colour pink which is often associated with love and romance, and the lighting is bright and leaves nothing hidden showing an open relationship. The flower shows love because love is often represented by flowers and nature, also the colour yellow is a happy and upbeat. The low angle also shows that love is superior to all. 

Weakness

The first image shows weakness because the hand is completely trapped and incased in rope and can't free itself, and the closeup shot makes it look like nothing else is important. The second image shows weakness because its shot from a high up angle that makes the subject look small and vulnerable, and the brick is being used as a shield from the POV of the camera. The last image shows weakness as it shows injury from the rope. 

Strength

The first image shows strength as its shown from a low angle making the subject look more powerful and the polystyrene head hides the identity of the figure, and the second image shows strength because concrete and a gun are powerful objects. 

Poverty

 Fear

For Fear, we got an old Barbie, tied it in rope and hung it from the top of a desk. We thought that this would show fear as it shows vulnerability, and it seems "off" and unusual enough to create some resemblance to fear. The tilted angle in most of these shots were to show something was off. Next time I would like less lighting to make it darker, or just one sharp red light coming from the back but with no other lighting to create a silhouette and some confusion.
